Community Booth

Each year, St. Vital Centre welcomes more than 150 community groups and charitable organizations into the mall to raise awareness about their causes, free of charge.

Our Community Booth is available for non-profit charitable organizations to sell raffle tickets, promote fundraising events or to provide display information about an organization.

We are now accepting Community Booth Applications for 2016.  See below for more details on how to apply.

Who can use the Community Booth?

The Community Booth is reserved for non-profit/charitable organizations; each group is allowed 1 visit per calendar year. Groups can use the booth for a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 7 consecutive days.

A maximum of 5 of the same group that have several different branches that aren’t affiliated with each other will be allowed per calendar year (For example, The Knights of Columbus, various Cancer Care groups, Manitoba Wildlife Federation branches).

What’s in the Community Booth?

Most importantly, representatives from your organization! The booth must be staffed during all shopping centre hours. Additionally, the booth is outfitted with a locked cabinet, counter space and offers access to electricity as needed.

How do I reserve the Community Booth for my organization’s use?

Complete a request form. This written application request must be submitted a minimum of 14 days prior to requested date(s). The Community Booth is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be reviewed and processed in the order they are submitted. Click here to dowload the request form.

What happens once my initial application is approved?

Once your request has been approved and dates have been confirmed, a confirmation package will be sent to the contact person.

The package includes the following items that must be returned 7 days prior to the start of the organization’s visit:

* Both copies of the signed space agreement (a copy with the manager’s signature will be returned to them once all materials have been received and their visit confirmed)

* A copy of the organization’s liability insurance in an amount no less than $2,000,000.00. Such insurance shall name 20 VIC Management Inc., OPB Realty Inc. and St. Vital Centre Promotion Fund Inc. as additional insured.

* An initialed copy of the Display Standards. Descriptions or photos of any promotional material or signage must be submitted prior to the visit for management’s approval.
