Dean dreamed of spaceships robots and the occasional mutant. Dissuaded by his art teachers that there was no future in drawing comics and designing Ork battleships he left New Zealand to pursue a career in Film in the UK and Europe. Ending up in the Video game industry by joining the wrong job queue, he spent most of his working adult life dealing with some of the most bizarre if not disturbed personalities in the Video Game industry. Using these people as his inspiration he set out to write his life experiences through the medium of 3D in comic book form. Using the saying truth is stranger than fiction he wrote the Tanketo series while recovering from borderline Alcoholism and new medication for treatment of his Bi-Polar Disorder.
